The difference between the VOG and IVOG:The IVOG is the VOG, but not in a 500 series format. It has an added instrument input and its own brick bipolar power supply.
Additional info:The IVOG came about because 14 years ago, the Europeans hadn't embraced the 500 series format, so we had to come up with something for all those Euros! The IVOG has an external brick power source. I added an instrument input so you can plug in and get creative on your instrument, like making that 5th string on your bass audible. It is instant stoner rock with the IVOG on guitar. The IVOG circuitry lends itself well to a passive instrument input because it has a naturally high input impedance of 3 megohms. Since the iVOG can run unbalanced in stereo, it has become popular in the DJ community. You can make that drop punch!
