Merging the best of analog and digital worlds, the 500- and NG500-series WesAudio _PHOEBE single-channel preamplifier offers classic 1073-style Class-A preamplification and the powerful luxury of digital total recall, plus analog automation in your DAW. On the analog side, _PHOEBE provides high headroom at +28 dBu and uses Carnhill transformers for big tone that'll help you get pro impact in your tracks and mixes. The XLR-1/4" TRS combo input accepts mic, line, and Hi-Z signals. Other features include microphone gain up to 75 dB, switchable impedance input, phantom power, and phase invert control, Additionally, on the front panel, there is output-signal metering with clip detection.
When it comes to the digital integration, _PHOEBE is high tech with USB connectivity and plug-in control. The touch-sensitive encoders not only adjust the settings of the analog circuitry, but also allow you to write real-time automation to your DAW. Alternatively, you can draw automation in the DAW and _PHOEBE will react accordingly.

Total Recall and Plug-In Control
- Digital recall can be achieved by connecting _PHOEBE directly through the front panel mini-USB socket or using it inside the _TITAN chassis.

All controls / analog settings are fully manageable via the WesAudio GCon DAW plug-in (with free software and firmware upgrades).
Analog Automation
- Analog automation allows you to change _PHOEBE's settings to suit your workflow.

Just draw automation lines in your DAW and _PHOEBE will follow. You can also use the touch-sensitive encoders to record automation to your DAW.
NG500 Series and 500 Series Compatible
- Each WesAudio device in the NG500 (Next Generation 500 Series) product line is equipped with a special connector. This connector is an extension to the 500 Series and allows your device to be managed/recalled through specialized GCon protocol (e.g. _TITAN 500 series 10-slot chassis). This extension is also compatible with most 500 Series standardized plug type.

_PHOEBE is fully compatible with _TITAN the frame. This allows for control of all the devices in the chassis through one USB/Ethernet cable.
