NOS EF732 tube
UA Bock 167 PS true linear PSU In 2020, Universal Audio enlisted David Bock of Bock Audio to design a new line of premium tube and FET condenser microphones based on his most cherished designs. Manufactured in Santa Cruz, California, the Universal Audio Bock 167 is a large-diaphragm, multi-pattern tube condenser microphone built with high-quality through-hole components and timeless UA design for the professional engineer and recording artist.
The '67 was a dramatic step forward in microphone technology and design for the new decade of the 1960s and it widely considered the finest microphone for recording pretty much everything from vocals to drum overheads to acoustic guitars. The UA Bock 167 builds upon this history. It features a continuously variable omnidirectional through cardioid and figure-8 polar pattern. An NOS EF732 tube is employed along with a dual diaphragm K67 type capsule. Engage Fat mode to beef up your tracks - great for guitar drums. The 167 ships a complete package with a shock mount, power supply, 20' cable and signature wooden box. Add the Bock 167 tube microphone to your mic locker and use it to record virtually anything with unparalleled quality!
