In 2020, Universal Audio enlisted David Bock of Bock Audio to design a new line of premium tube and FET condenser microphones based on his most cherished designs. Manufactured in Santa Cruz, California, the Universal Audio Bock 187 is a large-diaphragm FET condenser microphone that features a cardioid polar pattern, high-quality through-hole components, and timeless UA design for the professional engineer and recording artist.
