Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Neumann KH 120 II Two-Way Active Studio Monitor has been engineered and optimized to provide exceptionally linear performance, low distortion, and adaptability to any acoustic environment. With a powerful onboard DSP engine powering it’s crossover system and automatic calibration, the KH 120 II allows you to hear your tracks with even greater clarity, work more efficiently, and create mixes that translate optimally to all playback systems. The monitor’s small footprint makes it a superb choice for home and project studios as well as large multichannel monitor systems.
PRISTINE SOUND
The KH 120 II’s 5.25-inch woofer and 1-inch dome tweeter deliver incredibly linear frequency response with a ±3 dB tolerance from 44 Hz to 21 kHz, giving you consistent, transparent sound across the vast majority of the audible spectrum. The sophisticated DSP-controlled crossover provides linear phase performance (±45°) in the critical range from 120 Hz to 16 kHz, providing pinpoint accuracy in the time domain without comb filtering or smeared transients. These characteristics also give the KH 120 MK II superb spatial resolution and imaging in nearfield applications (3–6 feet).
ADVANCED STUDIO FEATURES
The KH 120 MK II’s DSP engine also provides Automatic Monitor Alignment, seamlessly calibrating your monitors for optimal performance for your particular room and listening position. Analog and S/DIF digital inputs make the monitor easy to integrate in any setup, and it’s small size and light weight make it ideal for small studios, large multichannel systems, and makeshift control rooms for on-location and broadcast mixing. To top it all off, it’s efficient Class D amplifier ensures superior audio performance while consuming only 17 W at idle, and auto-standby reduces power consumption to 0.3 W when not in use. The MK II improves on its predecessor in every way, making it a standout choice in the compact active monitor category.
