The BCM 705 mt's hypercardioid polar pattern and close-speech-optimized dynamic capsule help to keep extraneous noises off the air, even if the sound-proofing is less than perfect. Designed for speech reproduction at close range, the mic features an integrated pop screen and a frequency response that compensates for the overemphasis of the bass arising from the proximity effect.
