The Bee 50-C PAR Spot, Wasp 100-C PAR Spot & Hornet 200-C 3-Light Kit with Case was put together by Hive Lighting for traveling image-makers who require a compact, lightweight lighting solution with color control, light quality, and power options. The kit includes a Bee 50-C PAR Spot LED light, a Wasp 100-C PAR Spot, and a Hornet 200-C. Each light ships with a power supply, four-way barndoors, and a 7' compact light stand. Hive also includes a hard rolling case for storage and transport.
HIVE LIGHTING Bee 50-C PAR Spot Omni-Color LED Light (Black)
The black Bee 50-C PAR Spot Omni-Color LED Light from Hive is a versatile 1.5 lb LED light source that measures just 5" in length and 4" in diameter making it a great choice for tight spaces with minimal support requirements. The light has a 22-degree PAR spot reflector that makes it an ideal choice for selective lighting or for long throw work. The beam can be further modified by the included 4-way barndoors.
Control is the key word in the construction of the 50-C. Hive uses Perfect S.H.O.T. controls, a propietary term for complete control and adjustment of every aspect of light output. Part of the success of the system is due to the use of 5-LED chip blending. Instead of the traditional three colors, Hive uses red, amber, lime, cyan, and sapphire for nearly infinite color combinations with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98 and 97. Color can be adjusted from a very warm amber 1650K to an icy blue 8000K. But control doesn't stop there. There's 360-degree hue adjustment around the color wheel, as well as 0 to 100% saturation control. The 50-C can also be dimmed from 0 to 100%. While these adjustments can be made manually, you can also make them remotely via your smartphone or onboard wired or wireless DMX. Thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power supply, the 50-C is ready for worldwide use; but it will also run on optional 12, 14.4, or 14.8V batteries (60Wh or higher) when mains power is unavailable

The 50-C has 0-100% saturation adjustment, 360° hue control, output control from 0-100%, and color temperature control from 1650 to 8000K for nearly infinite combinations for precise color balance.
Color Blending
The 50-C uses red, amber, lime, cyan and sapphire LEDs instead of the traditional 3 color system to achieve a high CRI/TLCI of 98/97 to render colors faithfully with no output loss or color degradation.
Low Power Draw, Battery or AC Power
The Bee 50-C uses just 40W to produce light output comparable to a 300W incandescent. Its 5" length and multiple mounting points allow for easy rigging to cameras, drones, practicals, stages, and sets. The 50-C can run off a battery or universal wall power.
Control
The 50-C's functions can be controlled manually (locally) or remotely via your smartphone or DMX.

The Wasp 100-C Studio PAR Spot LED Light from Hive is a lightweight, versatile LED source with a small form factor and superior performance features. The light has a 22°, highly polished reflector and 4-way barndoors, making it a great choice for selective lighting or long throw work. Among the available optional accessories includes a 180° flood reflector for wider coverage. The 100-C has a standard yoke with a 5/8" receiver for stand mounting.

The five-section Lightweight Travel Stand for Bee 50-C, Wasp 100-C, and Hornet 200-C Lights from Hive rises to a maximum height of 7' and can support lights or gear weighing up to 6 lb. The stand's reverse folding leg design allows it to fold down to a compact 19.5", for space-saving storage and transport.

Store, transport, and protect up to 3 Wasp 100-C LED lights with the black Hard Rolling Case from HIVE LIGHTING. The case features an ambient pressure equalization valve, gasket seal, custom-cut foam interior, trigger-release latches, and padlock hasps for optional, user-supplied locks. For strength and durability, the case is constructed from molded, high-strength polypropylene copolymer resin that is resistant to corrosion and impact. Designed to military standards, the case has MIL-STD-648C and IP67 waterproof, airtight submersible certifications. Carry the case with the cushion grip handles, or roll with the telescoping handle and built-in wheels.
