The 2-Hornet 200-C PAR Spot LED, 1-Wasp 100-C 3-Light Kit with Hard Rolling Case from HIVE Lighting was put together for image makers who require a compact, lightweight solution backed by color, power, and light intensity options for shooting on location. The kit contains two Hornet 200-C PAR Spot LED lights and one Wasp 100-C PAR Spot light, each with an adjustable yoke, Superspot reflector, barndoor set, multi-voltage power supply, and a light stand. HIVE also includes a hard rolling case to safely store and transport the kit.

The Hornet 200-C PAR Spot Omni-Color LED Light from Hive is a versatile 2.6 lb LED light source that measures 9" in length and 4" in diameter, making it a great choice for tight spaces with minimal support requirements. The light has a 22° PAR spot reflector that makes it an ideal choice for selective lighting or for long throw work. The beam can be further modified by the included 4-way barndoors.

Control is the key word in the construction of the 200-C. Hive uses what they call Perfect S.H.O.T controls which is an umbrella term for complete control and adjustment of every aspect of light output. Part of the success of the system is due to the use of 7 LED-chip blending. Instead of the traditional 3 colors, Hive uses red, amber, lime, cyan, green, blue, and sapphire for nearly infinite color combinations with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 98 and 97. Color can be adjusted from a very warm amber 1650K to an icy blue 8000K. But control doesn't stop there. There's 360-degree hue adjustment around the color wheel as well as 0 to 100% saturation control. The 200-C can also be dimmed from 0 to 100%. While you can make all these adjustments manually, you can also make them remotely via your smartphone or onboard wired or wireless DMX. Thanks to its 100 to 240 VAC power supply, the 200-C is ready for worldwide use but it will also run on optional, identical 14.4V batteries in series using a HIVE Y-cable adapter, for situations where when mains power is unavailable

The 200-C has 0 to 100% saturation adjustment, 360° hue control, output control from 0 to 100%, and color temperature control from 1650 to 8000K for nearly infinite combinations for precise color balance.

7-Color Chip
The 200-C uses red, amber, lime, cyan, blue, green, and sapphire LEDs instead of the traditional 3-color system to achieve a high CRI/TLCI of 98/97 to render colors faithfully with no output loss or color degradation.

Bluetooth and Wireless DMX
The 200-C has 128-channel onboard wireless DMX with a range of 500' and Bluetooth with a wireless range of 50'.

Low Power Draw, Battery or AC Power
The Wasp 200-C uses just 150W to produce light output comparable to a 650-1000W incandescent. Its 9" length and multiple mounting points allow for easy rigging to cameras, drones, practicals, stages, and sets. The 200-C can run off a battery or universal wall power.

The Wasp 100-C Studio PAR Spot LED Light from Hive is a lightweight, versatile LED source with a small form factor and superior performance features. The light has a 22°, highly polished reflector and 4-way barndoors, making it a great choice for selective lighting or long throw work. Among the available optional accessories includes a 180° flood reflector for wider coverage. The 100-C has a standard yoke with a 5/8" receiver for stand mounting.
